We’re excited to share the Mo Dewji Foundation’s 2024 Impact Report, a transparent snapshot of how we’re delivering education, healthcare, and clean water with a data-first, community-led approach. Inside, you’ll find outcomes that matter: lives improved, systems strengthened, and partnerships that scale impact across Tanzania.
What’s Inside – At A Glance:
- Education: 250+ scholarships across 21 higher-learning institutions, with a 96% post-graduation success rate and an average 3.8 GPA, all powered by our three-year Learner’s Journey model.
- Healthcare: 35,689 patients treated through mobile outreach; 2,333 sight-restoring surgeries; 15,003 pairs of glasses; and 3,500 pediatric cancer cases supported through our long-standing TLM partnership.
- Water: 49 community wells built/maintained, bringing safe water to 24,500 people and cutting daily water collection time from hours to minutes.
How We’re Evolving
2024 marked a step-change in our integrated care model. We expanded beyond eye care to offer women’s gynecological services and cancer screening inside the same camp infrastructure -driving efficiency, equity, and better outcomes in the places formal systems often can’t reach.
Partnerships That Amplify Our Impact
From King’s Trust International (youth enterprise) to IIT Madras Zanzibar (AI & Data Science for Mo Scholars), our collaborations reflect a simple belief: a life is equal to a life, no matter what.
“We’re not just a philanthropic organization, we are a learning engine. We listen closely, act boldly, and constantly improve.” – Imran Sherali, Executive Director
