Debut eye camp in Singida

In Tanzania, eye diseases are ranked tenth among the top 10 causes of morbidity and about 1% of Tanzanians are blind and according to research conducted in central Tanzania, Cataract accounted for over 65% of blindness and over 75% of visual impairment. With evidence showing that 80% of blindness is avoidable, we are stepping into the limelight with an eye care program that promises to be a game-changer, leaving no one in the dark when it comes to eye health.

Beating preventable blindness.

The why

In a world where sight is often taken for granted, we recognize how important it is and we are all set to make a profound impact by bringing clarity to countless eyes with an eye-care initiative. In Tanzania, eye diseases are ranked tenth among the top 10 causes of morbidity and about 1% of Tanzanians are blind and according to research conducted in central Tanzania, Cataract accounted for over 65% of blindness and over 75% of visual impairment. A Visionary Approach

This coming November, (2nd-4th) in partnership with MEDEWELL health center for our debut program, Singida is in for a treat as we introduce our flagship eye care initiative as a part of our healthcare program that’ll leave a lasting impact. This visionary initiative includes eye camps that offer a wide range of eye care services – and here’s the catch – all of it is absolutely free!

We’re talking free screening and testing, free reading glasses, medication, cataract surgery, and other minor surgical procedures.

We believe this is beyond giving people glasses; it’s giving them back their independence. No more straining to read a newspaper or missing out on the finer details of life. It’s about restoring dignity, empowering lives, and brightening the future. with this eye care program, we are sending a resounding message to Singida: “We see you, and we care.”

Join the Vision

As we kick off this groundbreaking program, we are also open to future partnerships with other stakeholders who share the same vision of creating a world where no one’s dreams are dimmed by poor eye health.

Any support, whether as an organization or an individual is invaluable in making this dream a reality.

Other than that,

Mark your calendars and spread the word!
